Cheryl Winston, MPA, joined OMNI as a Research Associate II in June 2013. Cheryl is involved with a variety of evaluation projects in the areas of substance use prevention, juvenile justice, senior community health and social supports, racial and ethnic disparities in health care, and more. Cheryl earned a Master in Public Administration (MPA), graduating with honors, from the University of Colorado Denver School of Public Affairs, with a focus on policy analysis. She also has undergraduate degrees in Sociology (with a concentration in Social Work) and Music. She has prior policy and research experience in the areas of education, health care, and long-term care. At OMNI, she also is a member of the Online Survey Team, develops data collection tools and protocols for internal and external use, supplies evaluation technical assistance on several projects, and is involved in qualitative data collection and analysis. Cheryl is a member of the American Evaluation Association (AEA), the Colorado Public Health Association (CPHA), and participated in Substance Abuse Prevention Skills Training (SAPST) in 2015.
