OMNI Institute is a non-profit organization that operates under a participatory management philosophy known as “stewardship” (Peter Block, 1993). Being a steward of OMNI means taking personal responsibility for professional development, the development of strong client relations and the maintenance of a healthy and productive work environment.
Employees contribute to organizational policy development and related implementation and monitoring. We believe this approach, which is based on the values of shared management, team-work and open communication, fosters a highly committed and responsible staff dedicated to the provision of high-quality research services and products.
The day-to-day management of OMNI is overseen by an Executive Management group consisting
of OMNI staff chosen by the Board of Directors. Members of the Executive Management
group are responsible for responding to company issues, providing a forum for conflict
resolution, and general management of the company. Members of the Executive Management group assign leads to the primary areas
of company management: Human Resources,Financials, Information Technology/Information Systems (IT/IS), Business Development,
Staffing Management, and Project Management.
The general management and health of OMNI is overseen by a Board of Directors. The Board is comprised of both OMNI
staff and non-staff members. Board members are kept informed about issues affecting the health of the organization
and its employees through regular communication with the Executive Management group. Current Board members and their positions are as follows:
