The Advancement of Prevention Effectiveness content area is the training and technical assistance arm of OMNI, devoted to improving the capacity of prevention professionals and organizations in the delivery of high quality, effective programs and services. Emphasis is placed on working directly with local programs and community groups in ways that transfer cutting edge tools, technologies and competencies needed to be successful in confronting complex social issues.

Work in this area has supported the objectives of multiple state initiatives in the areas of substance abuse, criminal justice and youth development. Key technical assistance areas include data-driven decision making, community group facilitation, strategic planning and organizational capacity building.
