OMNI staff has extensive experience with the following quantitative data collection and analytic methods:
- Survey development, testing, administration and analysis
- Secondary data analysis
- Quasi-experimental research designs
- Multivariate analytic methods
- Use of quantitative analysis software packages including SPSS and STATA
The evaluation of the Colorado Kids Ignore Drugs initiative of the Colorado Alcohol and Drug Abuse Division is one example of how different quantitative methods can be employed to assess impacts. This project examined data collected on program participant outcomes, program services, Colorado Youth Survey measures of substance use and risk and protective factors and social indicators (e.g., adult drunk driving rates).
