Healthy Kids Colorado Survey: State Administration
The Healthy Kids Colorado Survey (HKCS) is a state-wide survey effort that assesses
the health related attitudes and behaviors of high school students in Colorado.
The survey is conducted every two years within randomly selected high schools. Your
help in obtaining a representative state sample can help us answer critical questions
regarding the health, safety, and aspirations of Colorado's youth.
There are many benefits to participating in the state sample if your school is selected
including:
- Having comparison data at the state level which can be compelling to funders,
- Obtaining important information about students' attitudes which can lead to programming
to improve health and ultimately improve academic performance,
- Promoting positive behavior,
- Increasing public awareness and influencing leaders to help shape communities in
a positive manner.
Below is a wide array of documents to help your school's administration go smoothly.
We are continuously working to to add new information to the website, so please
check regularly for updates.
If you have further questions or cannot find what you are looking for, please contact
