Emily Murillo is a Senior Researcher and has been with OMNI Institute since October 2009. Emily is responsible for managing human services and inclusiveness-related projects, with a focus on equity issues and culturally responsive services. She has led projects across multiple content areas including inclusiveness and diversity, disproportionate minority contact with the juvenile justice system, philanthropy in communities of color, bullying, prenatal health, and gang prevention. She has also provided evaluation technical assistance and support on large state and federal grants. Additionally, Emily serves on OMNI’s Spanish Committee and Cultural Advocacy and Responsiveness Committee. Emily received her MSW from the University of Denver in 2009. Prior to joining OMNI, Emily worked as a program director for a behavioral health nonprofit organization; she also has taught ESL both locally and internationally. She is a member of the American Evaluation Association
