Many federal grants have requirements for data collection and reporting—with grant applications scored in part based on the strength of these plans and demonstrated capacity. OMNI Institute regularly partners with nonprofit organizations and government agencies at the state and local level to pursue federal grant funding, with a demonstrated record of success in selection for award.
We do not charge for our services in supporting grant applications for which we will serve as the evaluator/research partner.
Significant Expertise
In addition to decades of experience with the data reporting systems and contractual and reporting requirements of funders, OMNI also has expertise in navigating the application requirements and evaluation criteria of federal grants, and will work with you to ensure a strong overall application, including support for developing compelling program narratives that feature statements of need and measurable program goals and objectives.
Extensive Partnerships
OMNI has served as the external evaluator and/or research partner on numerous grants awarded by SAMHSA, BJA, CDC, and others to a wide variety of clients including state and county public health agencies, departments of human and housing services, and law enforcement agencies, and ensures our clients meet rigorous follow-up rates and data collection requirements. This includes:
Secure, encrypted web-based data systems and tools to support the collection, management, and reporting of federally required data elements and performance measures
Direct collection and reporting of data or training and technical assistance for staff on these processes
Certification in human subjects protections and experienced in collecting client-level follow-up GPRA data (including in-person, paper, online, and phone surveying efforts with hard-to-reach program participants)
Extensive experience with securing IRB approval, data protections and confidentiality practices, securing data sharing agreements and MOUs, etc.
