Created in partnership with the Virginia State Epidemiological Workgroup, the Virginia Data Finder is a tool for:
- Community Services Board staff members for needs assessments or community program planning
- Community Advocates to help understand the needs of their communities
- Non-profit organizations to help find data to inform their strategic plans
- Policymakers to find evidence for policy decisions
- Epidemiologists/Social Science Researchers to inform their work and lower the burden of secondary data collection
With the Virginia Data Finder, you can explore datasets on a wide range of topics, from mental health services and substance use trends to community health indicators, healthcare access, and more. The information can be filtered by Community Health, Legal & Justice, Mental Health, Substance Use, and Youth & Young Adult Focused. All data sources are from trusted government partners, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
