About

Ashley brings more than eight years of experience in research, evaluation, and technical assistance, with diverse project experience spanning justice, behavioral health, education, and community health. She leads and supports multidisciplinary teams through the full project lifecycle, from evaluation design and stakeholder engagement to data collection, analysis, and reporting, translating complex findings into actionable strategies.

Much of Ashley's work sits at the intersection of substance use prevention and justice system reform, spanning statewide prevention efforts such as Wyoming's SAMHSA substance use prevention grants, program evaluations that have helped secure evidence-based designations (such as New Hampshire's Archways Family Threads program), and evaluations of diversion programs designed to reduce jail time and connect people to recovery-oriented support, including the Laramie County Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion (LEAD). Ashley has significant experience working directly with local communities in Colorado and beyond and has worked with several smaller communities, making her well positioned to support the needs and strengths of rural communities.

Across these projects, Ashley draws on strong project management, research coordination, and cross-sector partnership skills to build evaluation capacity at the local level, manage multi-site and multi-year grants, and ground technical analysis in practical, community-informed recommendations. She holds a Master's in Criminal Justice Policy and Administration from Penn State University and a BA in Criminal Justice from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their cat, Nox, and doing all things crafty.

I’m passionate about research and evaluation because it gives us the unique opportunity to hold a mirror up to our systems and make meaningful change that improves the community.
