Celebrating Hannah Lunkenheimer: Omni’s 2025 Employee Award Recipient

Here at Omni, each year our staff nominate a peer who has shown up in exceptional ways across projects, teams, and the organization as a whole.

The executive team selects one of the nominees who we then honor during our final town hall meeting of the year as we open the floor so the team can share appreciation, stories, and gratitude for their colleague in real time.

This year, that recognition went to Hannah Lunkenheimer.

Hannah joined Omni as a summer intern while completing her PhD and eventually became our inaugural Quantitative Specialist. Since then, she has helped shape how we approach analysis, reporting, and learning—while also becoming a trusted teammate that colleagues consistently seek out.

During the award announcement, Hannah was recognized for exemplifying Omni’s core values in action:

Inquiry

Hannah brings curiosity not just to project-level questions, but to how we work as an organization. She sees challenges and immediately begins exploring better, clearer, more useful solutions—often pushing our collective capabilities forward in the process.

Agility

Across a wide range of projects, Hannah has shown an ability to adapt quickly, troubleshoot thoughtfully, and step in wherever support is needed. Colleagues shared stories of Hannah joining projects midstream, asking exactly the right questions, and moving teams forward with speed and confidence.

Connection

‍Hannah’s work is grounded in relationships. Her warmth, humor, and genuine interest in others make collaboration easier and more human. More than one colleague described her as someone who brings calm and clarity into the room—along with a bright smile and, often, memorable earrings!

Accountability

‍Behind the scenes, Hannah consistently delivers high-quality work for clients while supporting teammates along the way. Leaders and peers alike spoke about the trust they have in her follow-through, judgment, and commitment to getting things right.

When the floor opened for live kudos, colleagues shared stories of challenges she made more manageable and moments of levity that helped teams stay connected. One teammate summed it up simply:

I always breathe a sigh of relief when I see Hannah staffed on a project.

As we close 2025, this moment of collective appreciation mattered. A lot. It reminded all of us that the people we work with do incredible work for our clients and communities while being a source of joy, calm, and trust along the way.
