Project Description
Omni is supporting the Kentucky Department for Behavioral Health, Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities (DBHDID) in cultivating a knowledgeable, skilled, and responsive behavioral health workforce equipped to address problem gambling and gaming. Drawing on Omni’s extensive experience in prevention strategies and capacity-building, the project will deliver foundational and advanced learning opportunities aligned with the International Problem Gambling and Gaming Certification Organization (IPGGC) standards. Activities will include the development and facilitation of an immersive skills training, creation of an accessible Problem Gambling 101 toolkit, and provision of responsive technical assistance to DBHDID-funded grantee organizations. This workforce development initiative is designed to strengthen service delivery and increase access to informed, compassionate care across the state.
Our goal is simple: help providers feel more confident and equipped to support those impacted by problem gambling.
