Chandra is an evaluator committed to community-centered approaches in family strengthening, juvenile justice, and education, with a focus on diversion, restorative practices, and supporting families involved in both child welfare and justice systems, and brings extensive expertise in designing and evaluating prevention and intervention programs—such as problem-solving courts and behavioral health initiatives—by integrating community insights with evidence-informed strategies.

About
Chandra is an evaluator with nearly 20 years of experience working with and for communities. She specializes in family strengthening and support, juvenile justice and education. Within these areas, she brings a particular focus on diversion, restorative practices and families connected to both child welfare and justice systems. Her work is grounded in a deep commitment to community as she works to support organizations and systems to better serve children, families, and their communities. Additionally, she has extensive expertise leading the design and evaluation of prevention and intervention programming across a wide range of content areas including problem-solving courts and other behavioral health initiatives occurring in both justice and community contexts, where she integrates community-based insights with evidence-informed approaches.
Chandra is a current volunteer in her local schools and was previously a Governor-appointed volunteer board member on her local Citizens Review Board for Children. She spends her free time running, bicycling, enjoying time with her family, and watching her chickens free range.
